One of the easiest way teens can start making money is by taking surveys!

By giving your opinion you can help brands make better products, and make some serious money too! Here are some site you should check out if you’re interested in making money with surveys:

Survey Junkie

Survey Junkie is an incredibly popular survey website! You can take surveys, try products, and participate in focus groups and earn points. You can then convert these points to PayPal cash and gift cards!

To join Survey Junkie you need to be at least 13 years old.

Swagbucks

Swagbucks is another popular website you can use to make extra money. Not only can you earn money for taking surveys, you can also earn money by playing games, trying out apps and products, and watching fun short videos!

Paid Viewpoint

Paid Viewpoint may look a little old-school, but it’s a great website for earning extra money! All the surveys are fairly short, and there’s usually at least one survey to take every day (so it’s easy to reach the cash out minimum).

You need to be at least 13 years old to join Paid Viewpoint, and payments are made via PayPal.

YouGov

YouGov is a survey website that’s specifically designed for people 16-30. The surveys are usually about politics, current events, and entertainment.

You need to be at least 16 to join YouGov.

Review Music

Love listening to music? You could earn extra money by reviewing songs on Slice The Pie!

With Slice The Pie all you need to do is listen to a snippet of a song and then write down your feedback. You will earn between $0.05 – $0.20 per snippet reviewed, and you will be paid each week through PayPal.

Website Testing

Companies want to make sure that their websites work as intended and that the navigation is easy to use and easy to understand. Some companies will actually pay you to test their websites to make sure everything is in working order!

You can also test websites using UserTesting. These tests are usually 10-25 minutes and you can make anywhere from $10-$15 per test.

You must be at least 18 to apply, and you will need to complete a sample test.


Micro Jobs

If you’re okay with making just some extra money or you need something more flexible, you could earn money by doing things called micro tasks.

Micro tasks are short tasks like categorizing items, tagging things, and data entry. Basically things that take less than 10 minutes to do.

  • Amazon Mechanic Turk – You can find tasks like categorization, writing tasks, transcription, writing, and more. Must be at least 18 years old to apply.

Review Calls

If you’re 17 or over, you can make extra money by reviewing calls through Humantic.

Humantic is a company that helps other companies audit their customer service calls so they can improve their customer service. All you need to do is sign-up and then you can get started!

Listen to a call and then answer some simple questions about the quality of the call.


Become a Reseller

If you want something flexible that you can do right from home, consider reselling!

Reselling just means buy or getting an item and then selling it for profit. You can start with just the items you own, like books, clothes, video games, etc. Take these items and list them online for sale, when these items sell, use the money to purchase other items that you can sell for a profit.

Rinse and repeat!

There are actually quite a few people who do reselling full-time! That could be you!
