Obviously I teach people how to build online businesses. It’s easy to think that means I’ve figured a lot of stuff out and since I’ve been doing this for 20 years that might be the case.
But the funny thing is that it was only in the past couple of years that I realized that the concept behind building an online business is pretty simple.
Audience x Offer = Money
That’s it. Business is simple.
It’s when you get caught up in the tactics where you get to complicate things, but whenever you take a step back and look at business, all it is is that simple formula above.
When it comes to analyzing your business we’ve broken it down another simple way with the Pocket Business Framework:
- Get them to notice you
- Get them to pay attention to you
- Get them to trust you
- Convert that trust into money
Again, that’s it. You can try to make it more difficult than that but it’s not worth it.
Whenever we analyze a business we just have to go through that simple framework to see what point they aren’t hitting.
It’s frustratingly simple and yet we make it very difficult.
We should stop doing that.
